This vintage is one of the oldest from the very old soil of Graves. It is located on a high point of the commune of Léognan, composed of a gravelly slightly inclined soil towards the North-West, and perfectly drained.
The white Pessac-Léognan 2006 is one of Bordeaux's finest white wines. It has a beautiful yellow and gold appearance, with notes of white and hazelnut flowers, with hints of fresh peach in the mouth. It is a tasty and charming wine.
The Château Carbonnieux 2008 has a splendid nose, both ripe and very elegant.
Château Haut-Plantade extends over an area of 10.5 hectares, located in the oldest wine-growing region of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and close to the most prestigious wineries in Léognan (Domaine de Chevalier, Château Malartic-Lagravière and Château de Fieuzal).
