El color es de oro pálido con tonos verdes. La nariz es delicada con frutas maduras, como la pera y el melocotón blanco. También posee notas complejas de cera de abeja, vainilla y pedernal. La boca tiene un comienzo fresco y frutado, es carnosa y robusta, y tiene buena estructura. Es equilibrado entre una redondez frutada y firmeza mineral. Un final muy largo.
Planted in Sauvignon, this cuvée is produced with vines from 35 to 50 years of age on very steep hillsides of clay-limestone nature called Terres Blanches (terroir of Kimmeridgian marls). A careful aging in barrels gave birth to this wine with aromas of red and black fruits harmoniously mixed with chocolate nuances. We find the woody notes (touch of roasting) well married to the fruit in an elegant mouth, well structured by tight tannins.
