The raspberry and blueberry-scented 2017 Cote Rotie les Bécasses is produced mainly from purchased grapes, sourced across the entire appellation. It's firmed up a bit since last year but remains approachable, being medium to full-bodied on the palate and lined with silky tannins. Robert Parker: 91/100 Points
Appearance: deep purplish red.
Nose: raspberry, hint of violet, predominant of spices, a touch of black olive and “tapenade”, rosemary.
Palate: ample and deep, woody, spicy and vanilla final.
